Sharing the format of other O'Reilly Cookbooks, The Asterisk Cookbook will include practical how-to's for Asterisk and other popular VoIP solutions.  If you'd like to contribute in some way, request an account!

The official 0.5.x and 0.6.x will be available soon. Please help us work out any final bugs before this pair of releases are made. Test images are available here: http://www.djhsolutions.com/astlinux These images are "runnix" images so please follow the instructions in the Documentation section on this site.

• 0.5.x images will be built with Asterisk 1.2.x
• 0.6.x images will be built with Asterisk 1.4.x

Hello everyone, AstLinux 0.4.8 has been released.

This is a minor update to Asterisk 1.2.24 and Zaptel 1.2.19.

The latest version of Zaptel has not been included because we have been working on getting the soon to be 0.5 releases ready.  As always, AstLinux 0.4.8 can be found on the SourceForge project page.

Hello everyone. I have just released AstLinux 0.4.7 with Asterisk 1.2.22 and Zaptel 1.2.19. This update fixes several security problems that have been discovered with Asterisk.

AstLinux 0.4.6.1 has been released!

This release of AstLinux updates the included version of Asterisk to 1.2.21.1. You can read more about this update to Asterisk here.

As always, the latest versions of AstLinux can be downloaded in the files section of the AstLinux project page, provided by SourceForge.
