Thanks to the modular design of the Linux kernel, AstLinux runs on a wide variety of hardware. Specifically supported:

• Soekris net48xx and net55xx
• VIA EPIA
• PCEngines WRAP and ALIX
• x86 PC hardware

 While not all PC hardware can be supported, these SBCs have 100% of their hardware supported out of the box when used with the proper AstLinux image.The following manufacturer's Zaptel hardware is supported.

• Digium
• Sangoma
• Rhino Equipment
• Pika Technologies

Additionally, mISDN hardware is supported. Also Supported:

• Just about anything!

AstLinux images are built from a SourceForge hosted SVN repository, Full source code is provided and AstLinux can easily be extended with additional software. AstLinux can also be ported to other architectures.
